I was at the Book Warehouse here today after lunch. (For those who don't have Book Warehouse's, they get last year's retail books which are no longer carried by the major retailers -- and from a few years before too -- and mark them down 60-80%. I love that place. Anyway, there were a couple of books there about American Express in the 1980s -- "Barbarians at the Gate" and "Vendetta". Evidently American Express in those days, under it's gentlemanly southern CEO Jim Robinson, wasn't exactly squeaky clean. I didn't buy the books, but I may go back. If anybody's read either one, let me know if it was time well spent. Doc
Re: American Express's executive cr BatG? (What does Battlestar Galactica have to do with American Express, praytell? Oof. Sorry.) Doc
Re: American Express's executive cr I could tell you, but the other members of the executives of the credit reporting agencies would expect me to kill you afterwards..... And that would not be a good thing, no, it would be a bad thing....
