Anybody ever use this one? I saw it in a Cardtrak secured card report. They have an interesting NO INCOME Visa - but it has a piddly credit limit. Their regular unsecured cards look OK. I went to their website - http://www.apbank.com/ looks OK - just never heard anybody mention them? AMALGAMATED BANK OF CHICAGO http://www.aboc.com/ Just updating this: I used this bank for a secured mastercard first, then a secured Gold Mastercard. They reported well to everybody, and paid reasonable interest on the savings account. BUT - check out their excellent rates for their secured cards now: 9.25% check it out if you are looking for a good overall secured card - they issued it to me in about 2 weeks - only a couple of months after my Chap 13 in 1996. I kepr adding to get to the deposit to$5000 - then got a secured Gold Mastercard - it is definitely a sharp looking card as well - LOL. ABOC does not offer Platinum! ALSO, no one would ever guess either the ABOC Classic or Gold was a secured card - which I appreciate. OK - enough on ways I started to rebuild after Chap 13.... arf - best regards - dogman
