I completed an application online with americredit. It came back declined. I recieved an email from them stating what CRA they used and it was equifax...My score with Equifax is 674. I'm trying to figure out why I was declined...I'm thinking it might possibly be the auto anstallment that I have on my Credit Report is still showing not paid in full yet, which was paid last month. Or maybe it was because I don't have a checking account...any ideas?

    Thanks

No checking account is an ILLOGICAL decline reason...BUT IT IS USED OFTEN!!!

I've been told that having both checking and savings is the best. Not having checking is sometimes seen as a negative.

Open a quick online acount if you have use for one, or go to the credit union-no fees. You don't have to USE it, just have it.

I ran into this while shopping for a car loan. Loan officer gave me the above advice.

    Good luck! :)

    americredit

You just don't know that was a blessing. Not to be accepted by Americredit. Try another Company. You will save yourself a lot of headaches in the future.
