Hi all, I heard that AMEX Green is easier to get than the Blue, but what about AMEX Gold? Is the gold charge card much harder to get than the Blue or are both at the same level of difficulty? What about AMEX Platinum, do you need to have a special invitation to apply for this? Thanks very much.
The personal card is easier to get than Blue since it is not a credit card and the income is $15K, for Blue it is 20K. The gold card also requires 20K income as well and is about the same to get as the Blue. Platinum no longer requires an invitation, but has much higher credit standards.
