I'm having trouble with an AMEX card which is in collections. Has anyone ever successfully gotten a CC company to pull an account out of collections and re-age it? I have access if it would help to go that route. I'll be able to pay this thing off in one lump sum at the end of Feb. but in the meantime I just want this CA off my back. Any thoughts appreciated.
Whoops, meant to say that I have access to an attorney if that would help. My gut feeling is that I'm screwed on this matter but sure would be encouraged to hear if anyone has ever had success in this department.
