Tony, If you need higher credit line with AmEx I would not recommend you to use their online feature for CLI. It always gives you very small increase and you are stuck for the next 6 months. The best way is to call CS, tell them you don't want bureau pulled, then they will connect you with American Express Centurion Bank and depending on your payment history with AmEx and your income you may get a huge increase without inquiry on your credit report.
Platinum, I agree w/all what you have said...I do no know how I'm able to get the Increase by the way of the BT, after I clicked the button for a CLI, but I will take it anyway I can.....I doubt a HARD will be pulled, at least last time I did the BT, they did a soft only....
