Greetings, I am now the proud owner of an Amex Blue card! This, mixed with my new Fleet Platinum, has marked the end of my credit-seeking/fixing journey (for now, at least). I must say that I'm very proud of myself, seeing that 8 months ago my scores were low-600s (one was actually under-600). At any rate...I got the Amex Blue card...and it's CLEAR! It's kinda cool, but definitely not what I was expecting. It almost doesn't look like a real credit card, although I just christened it today, and it definitely works. My officemate has a Blue card also, but it's white (what I expected to see). My question is, is this the new style of the card, or did I get some strange version of it that's used for a particular type of borrower? All the perks and rewards look normal, so I'm guessing the former is true. Cheers, Keirmeister
My Amex Blue Rewards is clear with a blue tint. I just converted to Amex Blue Cash and have been told that it's a different shade of Blue on the card. I know it looks different from your normal VISA or MC but take heart, the Amex Blue is one of the hardest to qualify for from the Amex product line. So.... Congrats! Wait 6 months and ask for a CLI. May '04 EXP:788 EFX:693 TU:663 I haven't checked my CR since the credit approvals, so I don't know for sure which CRA Amex used...though I doubt it was TU. I'm in NJ, so I think it was probably EFX. Keirmeister
Just got my Blue in the mail -- it's clear with white specs....silver mag stripe with americanexpress.com printed over the mag stripe. Pretty neat....
