I've been told that your FICO has to be in the upper 600s like 680-699 to even be considered for the card. Mine is but I'm on the AMEX blacklist for having an old charge-off with them. Fortunately, since I've paid it in full (and they deleted it! YEAH!), they told me I had to wait a year to even be considered for another one of their products. So for me that would be Spring 2002. Just in time for grad school...a little blue could be nice in my wallet. Good luck!
