I was denied for Blue with a 755 while under the dispute trick and they pulled EQ only so it should be good. I have about 8 inquires, but 6 are from a car loan, and all are falling off with bumpage this week. I have a 5.5 yr Discover Plat and 2yr Chase and seriously believe I can get it if someone manually reads my app. Any tips for the best way to get this to happen? This makes me wonder if they still see the accounts in dispute.

    I sent a letter to:

    Donna Potts
    New Accounts Department
    American Express Centurion Bank
    P.O. Box 31525
    Salt Lake City, UT 84131-9925

...and CC'ed Kenneth Chenault, Chairman/CEO, Johnathan Linen, Vice Chariman and Gary Crittenden, CFO/Executive Vice President. They called me an apologized in 7 days and sent me a card with a 2,000 credit limit.

DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH...I have been waiting for 3 VERY LONG YEARS for a limit increase...STILL NONE!!!

They must flip a coin...GIVE THEM AN ACCOUNT...YES/NO
    Limit increase...YES/NO

I was told that they would review my account in six months and if my account was in good standing they would give me a credit line increase.

Hey George! Now is your opportunity for a cl from blue. They have a promo going. BT at 0% until Oct 2003 and they up your cl equal to the bt. (There's is a 3% bt charge [max of $50] but if you transfer a considerable balance, I think it is worth it.)
