I'm thinking about applying for an AmEx Blue card, because it sounds like it has a good rewards program. It has a 0% introductory APR, which goes to either 9.99%, 10.99% or 12.99% after six months. I don't plan to carry a balance, just use it to accumulate points for rewards. Does anyone here have the card? What do you think of the rewards? Any good or negative experiences to share?

I like the rewards. They have a good variety and you can "buy" rewards with comparatively few points. I just turned in 10000 points for a $100 Home Depot card.

Learn to find the promotions. For example, if you can sit through an initial financial advisor consultation (free) you get 5,000 MR points. If the advisor doesn't grant the points (they don't like to fill out the paperwork unless you write them a check), never fear. You're a CreditNetter. You call the Exec Offices and get your points credited that way.

    I speak from experience. :)
