Hello, I just applied for AMEX Blue Student card. 2 inquerys in last 2 years being within the last 6 months. using less than a 1/3 utilization and PG FACO is a 674 with balances reporting twice as much as they are. What do you guys think my odds are??? got message saying if you are accepted you will recieve your card in less that 14 days then says check status at such and such link... I hope I get it. Sick of they shitting cards I have and now that I am a student I am going to try to use it to my advantage..
Hey. I have read on here somewhere that they want 2 accounts with two years history. Do you have that? Not real sure if that applies with the student card tho. Let us know what happens, I am thinkin of applying myself.
I am now in progress, Not sure if that is a positive sign. I am just just short of 2 years credit history by 1 month. NO lates bads or anything. Wish me luck
Well here you go. GOOD LUCK!!! Anyhow, I just got my last negative off of EQ, minus a collection that is under dispute and should fall off in a few days. After that, I am seriously considering applying for this card. I have to get my utilization in order, including getting EQ to report my limits correctly. If they would ever do that, I would be set. Anyhow, good luck and let us know how it goes.
My application has been descisioned. I will recieve conformation in the mail in 7-10 business days. I have a feeling I am not accepted which really makes me mad. I would like to get this card. Do you think Planet Feedback can help???
Just to let everyone know. At the time I applied I had FACO of 674 on PG they pulled Transunion on the blue card but months ago pulled Equifax on the green card. DENIED for lack of credit history. 1 month away from being 2 years and to many inquiries 2 in the last 2 years. THANKS SO MUCH AMEX!!!!!!!!!!!! yah right. they can shove I thought I wanted their card but not anymore.
Alright I know everyone is sick of me talking about this card already and I said I was mad at them which I am but I did decide to Planet Feed Back them just to see what happens. I will let you guys know of their response when I recieve one.
