I have a NextCard, and just this afternoon called to inquire about a credit line increase. The friendly rep said that my credit report was just reviewed, and that my credit score was 694. She said that another review - if made today, for example - would probably reveal a score in the low 700's (700-710).

I'd like to apply for MBNA or AMEX Blue. Do you think I'll be approved?

If your score is as high as she says it is & your overall credit profile is good, I think you should not have a problem. I would only apply for one right now & then wait awhile for the other as you want to keep this high FICO score. Congrats & good luck!

If you have over a 680 and no derogatories on your credit history you should be able to get any card you apply for.
