Well, the ride appears to be over. I noticed that Amex is now reporting my Blue account (along with limit) to Trans Union. I'm sure the others will show the tradeline soon as well.

I've had the account since March/April 2001. I guess I'd better pay that balance down as quickly as possible. TU sucks, but my score did tank. No more hiding balances on my Blue.
Thought you guys would like to know. :)

    Miles,

I just spoke with Amex's CBU yesterday. She said Amex has implemented a new software system last week that will be reporting revolving credit lines to the CRAs. I contacted her because Equifax (I really can't stand them) refused to report my ACCURATE credit line although I did send a copy of my statement reporting the correct limit. She said if you have a Optima or Blue account you should notice the credit limit being reported within the next month. All I can say is thank goodness someone at Amex finally woke up. :)

Thanks, Miles, for the update. I guess all good things must come to an end eventually. But since I'm at 0% apr I won't try to pay down the balance in a hurry (I'm at 20% utilization on my Blue). I hope TU doesn't hold it against me.

Does this mean the AMEX LOC will now be reported??

Dani- I am glad they are reporting correctly. I was going to call them to ask that they report, but I wanted to wait until my balance was paid down. Oh well. :)

marci- You're right. It was good while it lasted. :-D
Enjoy that 0% intro rate. It is awesome.

Tommy- I sure hope the LOC does not report. If it does, I'm screwed. I have hidden debt there until paid.
