Good. Serves them right - they harassed the crap out of me for a Corporate AmEx card that I had that my employer was supposed to pay. When my employer was bought out by a billion dollar company (only paid $643 million for our company) they promised no layoffs - then proceeded to lay off 75% of the workforce. And apparently didnt pay the AmEx bill - neither did I. It never appeared on my credit report tho - even though they threatened me a few times.
I think Visa and MasterCard are putting the "squeeze" on them. Could Amex become the next Providian to reach out to a broader sector of credit users? CardKid
