hi, iam planning to either convert my delta skymiles options card to optima platinum or get a new optima platinum by splitting the limits with my delta skymiles options card. Will either of these involve a hard inquiry? iam wary of this since i was dinged with a hard when i converted my delta gold skymiles to my current sky miles options card. Also, will amex give me the intro 0% APR for 6 months on the optima platinum when i convert? Thanks.
I was under the impression that Amex didn't do conversions? That you actually had to apply for the new card and then close your old account. I could be wrong though.
