I received an invite to apply for Amex Corp Gold for my home based business. Is this card easier to get because it is a business card. Do they base this on solely on the Owner's / President's credit profile?
Re: Amex Gold Card Hello all, please be aware that the gold card is not a credit card but a change card and the bill will have to be paid in full at the end of the month. Also what they don't tell you is that you charge limit will only be 2 times amount of your highest montly payment. If your bill was $300 you will only be able to charge up to $600.That great check feature that you get is linked to your personal checking account to draw money out of it and they charge you a fee for getting out your own money out of you own account(go figure).But it's nice to have it for back up.
