To All, Just wanted everyone to know if you don't know already that you can have the AMEX Delta Plat & gold. I already had the Plat...approved for Gold today because I wanted some more skymiles for free flights., besides the fee for the gold is waived 1st year. They pulled equi, 4 other inquires...fico 638. Couple baddies from 3 + years ago.,
ok, I logged onto Amex website to review charges on my green card. I saw a link saying that i was preapproved for the Rewards gold plus card. Does this mean that my green card will be upgraded or can i keep the green card as well as new gold plus card?
How long have you been a Amex green holder when you got the upgrade offer? My guess your green will be upgraded to the Gold. Best regards, Mirage
Yes, it means your green card will be upgraded. You will also pay the upgraded fee. I was also given the "privilege" of paying more, lol. Amex wanted me to upgrade to the platinum charge card. After some thought, I said no way.

Anyways, I became a member in 2002. So, its going on two years old in October, but I think im going to stick with the green rewards at 65/year instead of upgrading to the rewards plus for 150/yr!!
