I had an AMEX student optima about 4 years ago but defaulted on it. It was charged-off and sent to a collection agency. I paid the amount in full and AMEX deleted it from all three of my reports. I learned my lesson and want AMEX again. I applied for the AMEX green for students today, the charge card, not the credit card. Do you think I might have a more likely chance of getting it because they determine the limit of what you can buy month to month and purchase to purchase? Thanks.
