Jason, you may be able to answer this question, but it is open to all who know. I am a full time student in NY. I would like to obtain and unsecured student card. I read the previous thread about Amex for students, and this question popped up. Can you get approved for the Amex student card if you have negatives on your reports? Or does it just go by the school you attend and if you are full or part time?
This applies to all Amex student products.

Thanks in advance for your time.

You should be approved if you attend a 4 year accredited university, unless you have negatives on your report--like BK, charge-offs, or multiple late payments--otherwise, should be no problem. Remember, you can apply for the personal or Blue card. Good luck!

    Jason,
Thanks for the reply, but alas, I do have some negatives. I guess I have to wait until Junum does their stuff.

    Thanks,

    Erica
