   I read on this board that you could upgrade from Amex Green to Amex Gold without a credit check. Amex denies this can be done. Has anyone successfully done it?

   Yes, I upgraded my Amex green to gold almost a year ago. No inquiry on any report from them.

   You already have the account...they are going to do an INTERNAL ACCOUNT CHECK...if you have been good...UPGRADE IS ALWAYS APPROVED (usually more money)
