No, if you already have a couple of mileage cards, you don't need them.

I guess I didn't realize that you had two airline cards. In that case, it's a hard decision, but with the UYGF I probably wouldn't apply. They'll just say you have too many accounts or some such nonsense.

2 CARDS WITH FEES DELTA & UNITED

I might drop the DELTA GOLD @ 11 months...UNLESS THEY MAKE ME A DEAL...

It is less than one year old...2 FREE FLIGHTS SO FAR...($42.50/FLIGHT)

If I were you, I'd work the United card. After all, aren't they the main airline in Denver?

I don't know about you, but FirstUSA just increased the CL on my United card. I don't think I'd ever charge that much in a month, and if I carry a balance the interest is higher than on most of my other cards.

So, with this info, I'd say stick with United.

but with the Amex MR, he can use the points towards United or Delta among others (at least I think so)

    DEN~ONT (UNITED & DELTA)
    DEN~SNA (UNITED & DELTA)
    DEN~BGR (DELTA)
    LAX~BGR (DELTA)

I asked about a "PRE-APPROVED" limit increase on UNITED GOLD VISA..."HARD" WILL BE DONE...that is NOT "PRE-APPROVED"

Mine was an automatic increase. I just got a letter in the mail that my limit had been increased.

Actually, I saw it on the web when I checked my balance, then about a week later I got the letter.
