I tried to call the 888 number and asked them to combine my 2 amex loc. No luck.... Anyone else been able to do it?
But the CSR told me that they do not combine. How do I ask them to combine for me? I called again and ask them " I would like to combine my to personal lines of credit" Is that possible? twice I called " no it is not possible" what gives?
I tried to persistant and called again. This time the CSR put me on hold and told me he would look into it. He came back and told me that "unfortunatly we can not combine personal lines of credit" and also that I should actually only be allowed 1 loc at a time.... Guess I'll leave it this way for now.
When I called, I was told you can, but since 20+20 = 40, and 25 was the max. She couldn't do it. When you use the automated phone system, it is setup to handle multiple locs. After you listen to info on the first one, you hit 3 for info on the next one.
Has anyone actually been able to combine yet? I keep on calling and they keep on saying no. What am I supposed to say to the CSR exactly? help would be greatly appreciated. leo
