Just got an e-mail from amex loc saying my account is pending and they will not be able to complete it today. They stated they would advise me of a decision by mail in 5-7 days. What do ya think?
It always gives an APR figure when you get the e-mail, approval or no approval. There's no way to tell whether "pending" means declined or really pending, unless you actually talk to a rep. Saar
I spoke with a rep last night and she said it is pending and could take up to 48 hrs to decide if approved or not.She said everything is updated real-time so keep checking.
The application stated the apr would be prime plus at least 2.995. My e-mail said prime plus 5.99%. Was this determined based on my credit and they just need to verify other things on the application? My point is how did they come up with the APR?
I was told when I got my account at prime plus 5.99 that the score and reason codes sent to them automatically decides it. Couldn't get it lowered, but I guess right now it's less than 12% so that's fine by me
