Amex LOC Pending

I was approved with for $9,000 with a 654 score and a 6 year old collection that was under dispute. It was not an instant approval. Now I am just waiting to hear on the 2nd application I put in yesterday. The collection I was disputing has since been removed so hopefully I will get it.

 

I applied last nite 9/18 Email was approved today. But I had already called the CSR.

 

This is addictive. I have 20,000@ 2.99. I don't think I need more, but I sure do wanna go for it.

My score is 667, oldest account established in 1997. No negative info on any of my reports. I had about 30 accounts total, with 9 open currently.


No inquiries in past 2 years , but a very high debt ratio.

Had credit since 95' BK discharged 99. DMB gave me a card. Was never late with them and they kept increasing the limit. No negs since BK

 

I applied today ....my experian score around 650....

I received the same email.

Wow. Im sorry Sam. Why would they put an APR if they were going to deny.

 

Call the 800 # and see if it says how much money is dispursed

Their e-mail would never say "Declined". But a rep would.

A "pending" e-mail message means either "declined" (80%) or "really pending" (20%). If you can't wait for the mail notification, give them a call.

Has anybody asked how long it takes to get account materials so the loc can be accessed? Has anybody actually recieved the materials yet? TIA

 

my "pending" e-mail really meant pending, but they did give it to me (the 1st LOC).

I can't remember how long it took to receive the info (checks and stuff), but it was a while, but then again it was a while before I was officially approved, so maybe my memory is running those two blocks of time together...

 

I applied last night-approved 5000,hit them up again and got the pending response?

 

I applied yesterday and got an e-mail today. Approved- prime+3.99%

Called their automat system and gave me an account number and limit $8,500.

 

Bump.
