The wildest thing just happened. I called Amex to ask if they give automatic increases on customers credit lines. I haven't had one since June of last year and was curious. The Amex rep was real nice and transferred me to the their Banking Department. I spoke to the rep Celise and asked her about an increase (but I did not want a hard inquiry showing on my credit report). She said the most she could give me without pulling my credit report was $8000!! Currently I have $3000 (a $5000 increase). I think I almost started hyperventilating. Discover won't increase my line over $1200 and Amex gives me an additional $5000. I couldn't believe it (still can't). I love those people! Everyone have a great weekend. I'm so freaking happy. Dani
I GUESS I'M A BAD CUSTOMER...AMEX BLUE REFUSED TO INCREASE MY CREDIT LINE AT ALL WITHOUT A CREDIT REPORT AFTER 18 MONTHS...NOT EVEN $5000...NOT EVEN $500!!!
