Amex Mcs No Help

    I CALLED A COUPLE OF HOURS AGO (MCS)...
    I asked for 3 things...

    1)9.99% "GO-TO" rate.
    2)Lower than 9.99% BT rate.
    3)Credit limit increase (AFTER 2 YEARS).

    I was tired of NO answers to e-mail, NO answers to snail mail, WRONG answers on the phone.

    GOT!!!!!

    1)12.99% "GO-TO" rate stays (NO PRODUCT TRANSFER).
    2)12.99% is BT rate, NOT 9.99%.
    3)NO increase in the credit limit, I CAN APPLY.

    George,

    I never have had a problem with Amex and asking for credit increases. The customer rep usually tells to apply online or she can put in a request for a transfer. I always say no that I need the increase now. He/she always transfers me to Centurion Bank. They're great to work with. They ask how much and for total household income. I have always gotten what I requested. Next time you call ask them to transfer you to the banking department (not sure if this is the correct terminology, but it works). Good luck.
