American Express Optima sent me a letter today informing me that they would be changing the annual percentage rate (APR) on the accounts it has with American Express Centurion Bank to secure its credit cards from 2.958% to 0.25%. That's a decrease of more than 1100%!!! Unbelievable! I haven't had a secured credit card with them for quite some time, but needless to say it was still a shock. Needless to say, I closed my savings account with them immediately. Buckets
