No where did I see the words "Platinum" on the letter which left me scratching my head. So of course I call to see what the deal was. The rep that helped me with the switch apparently was going to transfer me to a REGULAR OptimaÂ® card! I was hot....especially after I verified with him THREE TIMES that this was for the PLATINUM OptimaÂ® card. The conversation was even recorded. So I nicely expressed this to the rep on the phone and she kindly apologized. She reversed what he did and set me up with the correct card with the same terms that we discussed. I'm glad I called to check. She said that my card should arrive 5 business days after 11/21/01. So for those of you who had the Delta SkyMiles card and called to switch...after you receive you're confirmation letter, be sure to read through the whole letter to make sure it is the correct account and terms that you were promised.
