It cant be that hard to get, I was just approved for it after only having my blue Cash for 7 months .. now foolish me gets to pay the 400 dollar pr year annual fee. but the traveling we do makes it all worth it..

what are your scores? i've read blue cash is probably on par with platinum as far as ease-of-approval goes.

i just got my starwood plat and gold charge but would like the platinum charge for the same travel benefits you mentioned. will try after a few months of history with these two cards.

I have similiar scores and applied online for the Blue Cash and Platinium at the same time. Blue was approved immediately, Platinium was under review for about three weeks, after which they called and asked for some bank statements - I think there is an income minimum for non existing customers - then this was approved.

cool guys thanks! i'm right there with the numbers but miss the $100k minimum income by > < this much. so i applied for gold charge so that the income requirement won't apply when i finally go for platinum.

Don't forgot it $100,000 HOUSEHOLD income which means anyone living under your roof......

If you go for the Gold they have one which gives double rewards points and additional cards free of charge.
