Hi all, I just noticed that AMEX has two Platinum consumer cards: AMEX Platinum and AMEX Optima Platinum. AMEX Platinum has many more benefits than the Optima Platinum, but has a whopping $300 annual fee. I was just wondering which card would be the more difficult one to get? or are both tough to get since they're both Platinums? Thanks.
To get the Platinum Charge Card, you must have stellar credit, resources, and have had wonderful AMEX experience. The Plat Optima is easier - the credit line could be $1K. cya Dog
Other Platinum cards by Amex: Platinum with Cash Rebate Platinum Hilton Keep in mind the Amex Platinum is a CHARGE card, whereas all the others are credit cards.
