What kind of score do you need for AMEX? Also, does anyone know if they pull exclusively from Experian? Any other criteria you can offer. Thanks.

millcbs.com can help you locate amex.

As long as you have say:
    1. Nothing bad on your reports.
    2. Low debt utilization
    3. Minimal inquiries

(basically awesome credit) they will give you one.

662 is not sufficient for me to get one, btw.

I checked MILLCBS already, but I checked there once before about CITI and it said Equifax. I applied and they pulled Transunion. Denied. My Experian is 691 last I checked, no negs. I would just like to be sure they pulled Experian. Also, why can't people just call a potential creditor and ask outright what CRA they pull?

I think for your first AMEX card, they pull all three reports....

As I said in my 2nd post, I was approved (they must have only pulled Experian and although my Equifax isn't bad, my TU isn't so hot). This really feels great since this is my first real prime card. I'm just wondering about the balance transfer.
