Amex recently started reporting revolving accounts to the bureaus. They supposedly have new software.

I have had my account since April of 2001 and they never reported my account until last month to TU only. I just received an alert from Equifax that Amex Blue is now reporting to that bureau as well. They have not reported to Experian as of yet, but I imagine it will only be a matter of time. To my surprise, my Equifax score jumped 17 points even with the incorrect balance of $1,700 (paid off now).

TU's score as we all know is crazy. When Amex reported to them, my score dropped approx. 15 points. Yeah, that makes sense. :)

Just reporting this info in hopes that it will help those with revolving accounts who are hiding debt on their Amex until paid. The ride appears to be over. Better pay it off or move it quickly. :-(
I did want them to report, but after my debt was paid. I know, I'm being selfish. :-D
