Just curious, what is the minimum score needed for the credit cards (Cash Rebate, Skymiles, Starwood, Hilton, etc.) ? Is it lower than Blue or the same ?

    Thx.

    Didn't try DELTA...might be like AASILVER/GOLD CITIBANK...EASY...

If they get an annual fee...they might have LOWER STANDARDS...

    2/02 Blue- denied (700, 12 inquiries/6months)
Reason: too many inquiries/too many new accounts

    3/02 Delta- approved (690, 14 inquiries/6 months)
CL-$2000; requested CL increase, but was told that I had too many inquiries.

I have 5 inquiries in the last 6 months so I'm not sure if I should apply or wait. I haven't checked my score in a while, but I think it's ok because I was approved for some new cards recently.

Since the 1st of the year, I have received 3 new accts. Citi Plat Select, Target Visa and a Household Gold visa. I just checked yesterday, and my Equifax score has dropped by over 40 pts. I assume becuase of the inquiries and 3 new accts reporting. So, before you apply, do a quick check of your scores.
