I just called today to see if my application for the Amex Blue Cash was approved, and it was. So I asked the women what my credit line was, to my astonishment ONLY $2000!!! Then she went on to explain that because I had an Amex Starwood card with a credit limit of $15,000 already, they couldn't give me a higher limit on the Amex Blue Cash. So much for that! later . . .
It had to be some other factors as well. I applied for a Cash Rebate Card back in November of 2002 and received initial CL of 14k. Three days later applied for the Blue and received a limit of 14k on that one as well. Go figure. Todd
