I know they will transfer the "UN-USED" CREDIT LIMITS TO ANOTHER CARD YOU HAVE...but what about with a BALANCE (existing charges at the same rate and terms)... I'm NOT sure I want the AMEX HILTON ($15,700)...because the AMEX STARWOOD is at such a lower limit ($3,000) STARWOOD HAS 1.25/$1.00 MILES TRANSFER TO DELTA (20,000 X 1.25 = 25,000)---$30.00 SECOND YEAR Both are at 2.90% BT...but they are MAXED less $100 which I had to BT to them because YOU CAN'T MAKE A PAYMENT ON-LINE TILL THE STATEMENT DATE!!! It won't make much difference to me having 4 or 3 AMEX accounts...I GUESS STARWOOD AT $18,700 WOULD BE FINE...

Wait 6 months and make RATHER LARGE PAYMENTS DOWN TO $0 ON BOTH ACCOUNTS...I will leave HILTON AT $5,000 CL and transfer what is left of the credit limit to STARWOOD...KEEPING BOTH ASKING FOR A CLI ON EACH FIRST AT 6 MONTHS (I GUESS)
