Thanks. I have been opened 3 weeks tomorrow. I am expecting to be poor. I am not getting ANY salary or money from this office this year. And I dont expect salary next year. That is why I am working outside the office. However, I need to make loan payments and pay rent so I need to make SOME money..... I think the HMO plans will help me pay rent and my loan payments initially. Most capitation checks are several thousand dollars per plans per month once a panel of patients has been established. I am not relying on the plans but I am using them as a cushion. IN that sense, fee-for service patients & PPO patients are a bonus. Thanks for your encouragement though. But there is one thing you must remember, Dentistry unlike clinical psychology or medicine has a much bigger overhead.
