Okay..I'm THRILLED that WFNNB(Service Merchandise card) agreed to remove the lates from my credit report. However, how long does this take??? It seems like when my others agreed to do this it was updated much faster on my report. I guess I'm rather impatient because we finally decided to proceed with a mortgage loan and I would REALLY like to have this removed prior to applying. Service Merchandise did send a letter but they did not say they would remove all negs fro the report in the letter. Instead they said that they changed our credit report as requested or something like that. If they had said remove all negs, then I could have just faxed it to the credit bureaus. Guess i will just have to be patient and wait. It is soooo hard though because I'm sooo excited about the prospect of owning my own home. Thanks for listening to my little vent.
