I just wanted to share that they pulled Experian for my card. I received the processing message over the weekend. Creditexpert alerted me today that they reviewed my credit. This is my best report so we'll see. Interesting that it took this long to post and I check everyday. Anybody have a phone number to call to check status. Perhaps it's time for a new match although Citibank wore me out.

I went back and read the previous AmtraK thread. Saar provided this phone number for MBNA 1-800-896-3698. Apparently, Justme was approved and then denied. I received an alert today that they pulled Experian for me. I am going to assume declined.

I just called and was told my application was still in process and expect a letter in 2-3 weeks. Sounds like a decline to me.

2-3 weeks? that's a long time. declines are usually fast.

The representative was very nice. So when he stated that time-frame, I did not want to escalate the conversation. I had a Citibank rep state that I would receive the letter because she did not want to tell me I was declined. So it could be the same here.

    Mike G,

How much you wanna bet you got the card!

MBNA pulled Experian on me, too. I applied on Monday and Creditexpert informed me of the inquiry Monday evening. Today the denial letter came. BOY! Was that fast! But, since Experian is my worst report, I'm not surprised. I only applied for the card because I thought MBNA would pull Transunion and that's my best report, no negs.

Anyway, if the rep said your application was still being processed, and that you would be receiving a letter within two to three weeks, you've probably been approved. I sure hope so! And I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Take care and be sure to let us know.

Mike,When I applied for a Citi card ,it took a week and a half to get a response in the mail. When I got a letter in the mail,I could tell it was not a credit card,so I figured it was the classis denial.wrong,it was a letter welcoming me to the Citi family. The card came a week later.

Yeah, they check your credit, within one week you will get a decline letter or a letter requesting additional information. Any other time frame, it is still being considered.

P.S. I found out that I was approved for the Citi card because they did a balance tranfer before I got my card.
