    Yes, it is decent reading.

    I think some of this happened before I got many credit cards. A fee of $2 or 2% for cash advances seems like fantasy to me.

    That's too bad, but if you don't carry a balance, they can't put their hands in your pocket.

    Actually, late fees apply even if you don't carry a balance. Annual fees, which I don't believe the article mentioned, are also independent of balances.
