My creditreport says that I have an open account with a company named "ANB-BP" in Delaware. Does anyone here know what company is hiding under the name "ANB-BP" in the creditreports? The oilcompany (BP) maybe... I can not recall ever opening such an account. It seems like it has never been used either. Open in September 1999 with a creditlimit of $250. Never had either a balance or a payment. If it somehow actually somehow belongs to me.... shall I keep it open or close it? Thanks
I have a Texaco and a Shell gas card. They both report as ANB-BP. ANB = Associates National Bank out of Delaware. Associates was bought by Citibank. Hope this helps, KernelPacket
