I just went out to check my mail. I got a preapproval for the Associate's Citgo gas card. I don't think I'm going to go for this one. Although I really do think that my Associate's Shell gas card may have had something to do with my approvals for the Citibank cards I got at the end of last year.
DaveLV, My brother got pre-approval from Citgo and he got approved. He didn't use too much. After two yrs, they converted his Citgo Gas Card into Citgo Preferred Visa without asking. They just sent him the card in the mail. Ron.
Oooo... now that's tempting. I know they'll never do the same thing with my Shell account because ANB doesn't issue the Shell branded MasterCard, Chase does. My goal was to burn all of my inquiries between November and January. February through the end of the year was supposed to be inquiry-free except for mortgage shopping. I wonder if I can convince myself to extend my deadline through the first week of February...
