For the past few weeks, I have been receiving 5-10 phone calls a day on my cell phone from the same telephone number. When I answer, all I hear are a bunch of beeping noises and no human response. When I call this number, I'm told it's been disconnected. Reverse lookup on the internet is useless. Has this happened to anyone before? Any ideas on how to get this to stop? Thanks.
Have you called your CELL PHONE SECURITY DEPARTMENT??? They may be able to do something you can't... IT MAY BE A "SPOOF" PHONE NUMBER ON THE CALLED ID If nothing else they can give you credit for the calls and "MAY" be able to BLOCK THE NUMBER FROM THEIR END...
my cell phone service provider cannot block certain numbers from calling my cell phone I'm not getting charged for any of these calls, it's just incredibly annoying to have my phone ring over and over each day from this bogus number. any other ideas? who ultimately regulates the phone numbers in the U.S.? the FCC? thanks.
