It's funny because they also state on my report that they are unable to locate individual yet I have contacted them 5 times and each time, they have signed for my letters. They have also replied to them with a computer print out claiming it is "validation."

I am currently composing my Basis of Lawsuit listing all their violations and then I will be joining you.

Right now though, I am focusing on CFC which is another company owned by Asset. They are at the same address etc. I am all set to go with them.

I would definately make sure you file a formal complaint against them with the FTC, BBB, and the attorney general in your state. You can do the FTC and BBB disputes online and in my state (Michigan), you can do the third online too.

It really does help (I hear).

I think I am going to wait a little bit before I file suit against them. The reason being is, I would like to get their info removed from all three of my credit reports first. I already got their info removed from two. It is still being listed on my Experian report but currently shows NO STATUS, under dispute via the Fair Credit Billing Act, and has an exclusion code attached to it (so nobody else can see it...just me).

But, I would like to get it deleted completely to make sure it never shows up again. And then, once I do that, I will quitely write my Basis of Lawsuit against them and 30 days or 45 days later, when they can't remember much about this account...DING DONG...You are served a lawsuit. :)
