I know a BK 7 stays on all credit reports for 10 years. The question I have is : from what date ? From date of filing or when the case was completed?
It stays on 10 years from the date that you filed. I've heard that some CRA's may delete it up to 9 months prior to the 10 year anniversary. I got mine deleted from my EQ report 1.5 years prior, on EX it was 3 years prior (for some reason they were easy) and it came off TU 1 year early. Now getting TU to remove it was like pulling teeth. They deleted it once about 18 months prior to the 10 years and then reinserted it with errors and all.
