I had two EQ files. One under my maiden name and one under my married name. On the maiden name report, I disputed some accounts a few years ago and they were deleted. However, two accounts were reinserted and no notice was sent to me. I 'reminded' them that they sent no notice and to delete the accounts again. They did not delete the accounts but they did remove the CA account that was added just a few months ago. Oh well... Any suggestions on how to proceed? I will be reminding them of their responsibilities under the FCRA regarding reinserted accounts again. If that does not work, off to small claims we go... Am I on the right path?
Just noticed, that this same CA account also disappeared from another CRA report with no intervention on my part. Medical collection went POOF!
I have a couple of these i'd like to go poof!!! I don't think you are out of the woods yet.The fact that they are no longer reporting it could mean that they sold the account and someone else will start reporting it.That is my only guess,but i hope for you they stay gone!!!
