I finally got a BT offer from Citi, but it expires June 17. Are they likely to offer it again? I cannot use it now, but would like to have it available later in the summer. I need to pay off my balance first to get rid of the higher interest rate borowing before I use the BT rate. It's all part of my long term planning. FirstUSA, where I have three cards, offered me a one month BT rate on all three cards. When I did not use it, they offered the same rate for a four month period. I wa wondring if Citi would do the same.
i've had the same BT offer for like a year now. Actually two offers. the checks, might expire, but online, never seems to. always says "Act now before this offer expires". Imo, you should call "R" directly and ask for a better offer. You'll 99% of the time get a full point lower.
