I applied and received a aa advantage mastercard last week for a 2500.00 limit. What I wanted to know, can I apply for the aa click card now? Should I wait. I want to get the aa click card then combine the cards for a higher limit.

Also when I apply, it asked if I was a current citibank holder. Should I say yes or no ???

Has anyone ever applied so soon after geting a card again. And if so did you say you had another citibank account.
    When you applied???

    Thanks

Citibank will accept 2 applications in 90 days. Go for it.

When I apply, should I tell them I have another citibank account. I just opened it a week ago.

If they already no , then why do they ask if I have another citibank account and the account number. This is the screen just before you apply for a card.????

I would guess that they ask you the account number because you haven't given them any other identifying information. They don't know who it is that entered the site.

Of course, if you log in and check your account, and THEN they ask if you have an account, there's obviously a problem at their end.

It may save time processing credit application...may be "ALREADY APPROVED".

No, I don't belong to their web site. I mean when you go to apply for a citibank card. The site first asks if you have a citibank card, if you do you click on yes. Then it asks for your account number and mothers maiden name. If you don't then you click no and proceed to fill out the application. I wonder if they try to limit your credit on the new card if you click yes. Anyone try this yet.????

they use it for two things:

    1. Credit reference, if you have had a citi card FOR AT LEAST 6 Months, it will be a good thing.

    2. The automatically fill out the information like address etc.

Does Citibank take additional apps if you were denied? (to Roni)

Click no!. They probably will approved you for the same limit.

I agree with Geo. Click "No". I applied for both my dad and mom back to
    back for each.

I said "no" on the second application minutes after they were approved for
    the first app.

My dad got two cards with $9000 each. My mom got one card for $6000 and
    one card for $5000.
