Well folks, I guess it's my time to thank you all for the time you spend on these boards answering questions. With your help, I have managed to clean up DH's report to the point of being pretty decent (scores below). The only thing left now is utilization, and we're working on it. We were told that we will be shipped back to FL this month. We have no car, so the first thing that came to mind was a car loan. We picked a VW Touareg, and decided that it will be a nice and pricey wedding anniversary gift for ourselves. I got a letter from our CU yesterday. They approved us for the loan, and because we've had our accounts with them for so long and always in good standing, they cut us 1% off the APR. Now we have a loan at 2.5(!), with a CU whom we can trust, and so far I have not seen a hard inq. on our reports! Than you guys With the baddies that DH used to have on his report, we'd be riding bikes to work PawMix (happy and all that...)
