Another Experian Inquiry Deleted

    An American Express inquiry from almost two years ago (due to come off next month anyway) was deleted today. As I suspected might be the case there was no change in my score as a result. There are now only four hard inquiries on my report.

    This item is currently being investigated.
    Date: 09/01/2000

    â?¢ ORCHARD BANK
    Date: 04/07/2000

    â?¢ HOUSEHOLD
    Date: 02/24/2000

    â?¢ CAPITAL ONE BANK
    Date: 12/06/1999

    Hi Dave,

    Hadn't seen any posts from you in awhile. Glad to know your still here. Congrats on your deletion. I was able to get 5 inquiries deleted from Experian while I was subscribed to CE. I didn't keep the service though since the predominant bureau in South FL is Equifax. I chose to stay with Privista instead.

    No CE subscription is required for online disputes. Just go to:

    http://www.experian.com/consumer

    And at the bottom, choose "request an investigation". All you need to provide them is a report number (available on any paper or online report you've even ordered from them) and that's it.
