Hi all, I recently posted that Household Bank gave me a 0% fixed rate on purchases until April 2002. Now they sent me some balance transfer checks which also have a 0% fixed rate until April and no BT fees. This is amazing!!! I never got this kind of offer from any of my other cards (Citibank, Chase, MBNA, AMEX) and I never expected this kind of offer from Household. Did anyone else receive this kind of offer? I actually thought about cancelling this card some time ago to cut down on the number of cards, but if the balance transfers and regular monthly payments go smoothly, this card will be a keeper.
which card is this? is there a fee for b/t? what's your goto rate? is it a 2cycle ave daily balance once you get the goto rate? annual fee? Hmmmm. I ask a lot of questions don't I.
It's the Household Gold card with no annual fee. There is normally a BT fee, forgot what it was. The go to rate is a bit high (around 16%), but they don't use two cycle billing. I always pay off the balance on this card and only occasionally carry a balance on Blue.
